It also allows the instructor to monitor multiple students at the same time quickly and easily remotely. The indicators change color depending on the range and rate of chest compressions as follows:<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\" translation-block\"><span lang=\"en\">The <\/span><span lang=\"en\">metronome <\/span><span lang=\"en\">consists <\/span><span lang=\"en\">of <\/span><span lang=\"en\">four<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> LEDs<\/span><span lang=\"en\">which <\/span><span lang=\"en\">are <\/span><span lang=\"en\">placed <\/span><span lang=\"en\">on the <\/span><span lang=\"en\">left <\/span><span lang=\" el\">shoulder<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">When <\/span><span lang=\"en\">the <\/span><span lang=\"en\">trainee <\/span><span lang=\"en\">begins <\/span><span lang=\"en\">chest <\/span><span lang=\"en\">compressions<\/span><span lang=\" en-US\">,<\/span><span lang=\"en\">the<\/span><span lang=\"en\">indicator<\/span><span lang=\"en\">of<\/span><span lang=\"en\">metronome<\/span><span lang=\"en\">becomes<\/span><span lang=\"en\">red<\/span><span lang=\"en\">as long as<\/span><span lang=\"en\">the<\/span><span lang=\"en\">rate<\/span><span lang=\"en\">of<\/span><span lang=\"en\">compressions<\/span><span lang=\"en\">is<\/span><span lang=\"en\">between<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">0-60<\/span><span lang=\"el\">compressions <\/span><span lang=\"el\">per <\/span><span lang=\"el\">minute<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">As <\/span><span lang=\"en\">the <\/span><span lang=\"en\">student <\/span><span lang=\"en\">increases <\/span><span lang=\"en\">the <\/span><span lang=\"en\">pace<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">,<\/span><span lang=\"en\">the <\/span><span lang=\"en\">indicator <\/span><span lang=\"en\">changes <\/span><span lang=\"en\">to <\/span><span lang=\"en\">yellow <\/span><span lang=\"en\">when <\/span><span lang=\"en\">the <\/span><span lang=\"en\">pace <\/span><span lang=\"en\">approaching <\/span><span lang=\"en\">80<\/span><span lang=\"en\"> compressions <\/span><span lang=\"el\">per <\/span><span lang=\"el\">minute<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">. When the rate is between 80-100 a green light turns on. <\/span><span lang=\"en\">Just <\/span><span lang=\"en\">the <\/span><span lang=\"en\">pace <\/span><span lang=\"en\">do<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">100 to 120<\/span><span lang=\"en\">compressions <\/span><span lang=\"en\">per <\/span><span lang=\"en\">minute <\/span><span lang=\"en\">then <\/span><span lang=\"en\">two <\/span><span lang=\"en\">green <\/span><span lang=\"en\">indicators <\/span><span lang=\"en\">activated<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">. Finally, when the rate is greater than 120 chest compressions together with the two green indicators a yellow one flashes.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\" translation-block\"><span lang=\"en\">In <\/span><span lang=\"en\">case <\/span><span lang=\"en\">where <\/span><span lang=\"en\">the <\/span><span lang=\"en\">depth <\/span><span lang=\"en\">of <\/span><span lang=\"en\">compressions <\/span><span lang=\"en\">no <\/span><span lang=\"en\">is <\/span><span lang=\"en\">the <\/span><span lang=\"en\">correct<\/span><span lang=\"en- US\">,<\/span><span lang=\"en\">all <\/span><span lang=\"en\">the <\/span><span lang=\"en\">indications <\/span><span lang=\"en\">disables <\/span><span lang=\"en\">and <\/span><span lang=\"en\">starts <\/span><span lang=\"en\">to <\/span><span lang=\"en\">blinks <\/span><span lang=\"en\">the <\/span><span lang=\"en\">red<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> LED. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Patented where the head tilts to open the airway (head extension), the PRESTAN Adult Professional Dummy simulates the way a real victim's head will be lifted if CPR is required. Blows of the trained lung in the sac (adult lung simulation) are only achieved when the head is raised in the correct manner. Then and only then does the chest rise from the air entering the lung sac become apparent. In addition, the unique construction of the PRESTAN adult dummy incorporates a mechanism (clicker) that helps to apply the correct force of chest compressions.
