What is it?

Maltodextrin is a complex carbohydrate derived mainly from corn, rice or potato starch, after a partial hydrolysis process. Despite the complexity of its form and bonds, it can be absorbed, digested and metabolized relatively easily and quickly. This is because its chain of bonds is weak and breaks relatively easily. This results in it being absorbed slightly more slowly than dextrose.

100% pure maltodextrin, without aroma or taste so it can be added to another drink.
