Auto-tuning function: The main feature that sets it apart from the standard model. This option will allow the user to maintain the preset %LOP pressure throughout the exercise.

Custom Pressure Mode: The same mode found in the standard model allows for quick, “worry-free” LOP calculation. With the built-in pressure sensor and built-in computer, there is no need for an external doppler sensor or manual pump. The unit will do everything for you.

IPC Functions: Built into the software, these functions can easily be performed pre- and post-activity by the user for enhanced muscle recovery.

Li-Ion Battery: Gone are the days of using NiCad batteries that self-discharge and die after a year. Both SmartCuffs® and SmartCuffs® Pro models feature the latest Li-Ion batteries to withstand rigorous use and provide quick recharging capabilities.

Compatibility: SmartCuffs® and SmartCuffs® PRO pumps will work with previous SmartCuffs® models from 2018-2020.

Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training is the name of a training method from Japan that induces a concentrated hypertrophy load through controlled constriction of blood flow during training. The SmartCuff was developed to address the lack of consistency in BFR training. The device works with a palm pressure gauge so you know exactly how much pressure you are putting on the cuffs.

Blood flow restriction training is a technique that combines low-intensity exercise with partial occlusion of blood flow to working muscles. The clever effect of promoting muscle growth with little mechanical stimulation.
