CPR-D Padz electrodes for the Zoll AED Plus defibrillator with metronome, a single, pre-connected electrode. Using CPR hand placement as a landmark, it's easy to place CPR-D padz electrodes on the victim quickly. CPR-D padz pads have a lifespan of five years – the longest lifespan of any defibrillator pad sold today.

Inadequate compression rate is a common error during CPR. Adult victims need at least 100 compressions per minute and at least 2 inches (5 cm) deep. Compressions must be done correctly to effectively move blood and oxygen.
The Zoll AED Plus defibrillator converts compression data instantly from the CPR-D padz electrodes and provides an adaptive metronome to assist the rescuer with the correct rate and depth by saying “Push harder” or “Good compressions” as required. It also shows the CPR compression depth on the screen. The Zoll AED Plus defibrillator is the only defibrillator that helps the rescuer achieve the correct rate and depth of chest compressions during CPR. No other defibrillator has these capabilities.
